History

The community of Reserve Mines is well known for its many ‘firsts!’ The Lambert Todd Days Festival is named after a race horse that is believed to be the first community-owned race horse in North America. Lambert Todd was purchased by a group of businessmen including Willy Hines, Alley Lewis (on the horse in picture below), Joe Blanche, Mickey Connors, PJ Cadegan, and Worrell Lewis from Reserve Mines . . . lots of community history among these gentlemen!

Dates July 6 to July 9, 2017
