The CBRM Recreation Department with partnership with the Riverview Y’s Men and Active for Life Cape Breton to bring the community the CBRM Recreation Fun Van for the summer. The new and improved Fun Van brings recreation and most importantly fun to communities and events across the CBRM through summer months. While encouraging healthy living and physical activity, our qualified staff will ensure a fun, safe and inclusive experience for all who attend.

The program features GIANT board games, crazy games, water activities, nature hikes, neat crafts, themed Day Camps, Bike days, Track and Field, and Fun/Water Fun Days every Friday!

Participants are encouraged to take sneakers, water, and sunscreen when participating in the Fun Van program.

Fun Van staff members have receive training in NCCP Fundamental Movement Skills, so will be using their training to teach movement skills to participants in the Fun Van program.
